Aleyska Pipeline session

Yesterday, we sat in a session with the IDs in which they provided feedback on a CD-ROM being developed for the Aleyska Pipeline. This is CDE's effort to collaborate with industry & furthermore to be more in touch with the community. It was a very fruitful session in which IDs gave feeback on the various design aspects of the CD-ROM; navigation structure, assessment etc. The ID that is assigned to this project is actually being sub-contracted by CDE because of his expertise in the area of CD-ROM development. This could probably be something that we can implement at DFLSC.
(1) Feedback sessions that should not only be limited to multimedia development.
(2) Possibilities of collaboration with industry.

It was also interesting to find out that the CDE IDs only gave feedback whenever required (more like a brainstorming session where all the IDs put their heads together) but the entire storyboard and the design was done by the sub-contracted ID.
