Stop over @ the Pipeline

Had a stopover @ the Pipeline on our way to Chena Hot Springs. The pipeline is a major attaction here in Fairbanks. In an earlier posting I mentioned a session with Aleyska Pipeline. This pipeline which is 800 miles long & 48 inches in diameter, moves oil from North Slope of Alaska to the northern most ice-free port of Valdez, Alaska. It crosses 3 mountain range & over 800 rivers & streams. The pipeline has so far moved over 14 billion barrels of oil since it first moved oil in 1977.
