Chena Hot Springs

It was about a 1 and a half hr drive to Chena Hot Springs. The owner took us around the premises showing us the Geothermal activities currently in place. There is a collaborative research project happening in this area with UAF. There are plans for greenhouses to grow vegetables powdered by geothermal energy & computers in place that will allow plants to communicate what they are lacking in nutrient requirements.
