Meeting with the IDs

First session this morning was with the IDs. There are 6 of them here; Carol, Heidi, Chris, Sage, Kristen and Rosie. Again a fruitful session in which we exchanged notes on the kind of work we do. Each of the IDs have particular areas of expertise such as web standards, content managers, various dtp & multimedia applications, classroom community tools etc. This translates to the area of training that they provide to faculties. Coincidentally, InDesign is the standard desktop publishing that is used here so this is one of the areas we will be exploring in more detail in anticipation of its adoption in DFLSC.
